Sixth week of teaching practice  (23/01/2023- 27/01/2023)

23/01/2023: I was eager to go to school. Today I had to engage sixth period and had only one division. A morning assembly was conducted by the students of class 7B. The assembly was in English. Students tried their best to conduct the assembly.

24/01/2023:Recreational activities are very important for the students. The physical education period has been included in the time table for the mental and physical relxation for the students. Today I engaged a Physical /education period for the students of class 8B. I made them play Kho-Kho.


 25/01/2023: The students were doing practices for the Republic Day celebrations. Various programmes were charted and practice was going on.

26/01/2023: Republic day was celebrated in govt.V&HSS Pirapancode. Almost all the students were present for the function.

27/01/2023:I had to engage fourth and six periods. the classes went well. Students were given group based activities. They had participated so well.

 26/06/2023- This week started with the morning assembly. In the assembly the main focus was about substance abuse. It was a special assembly in which our beloved Shashikala teacher spoke about the  need to create awareness against the use of drugs. 27/06/2023- A poster making competition has been conducted for the students in school as part of International Day against drug abuse.     28/06/2023- A special assembly was conducted to give the prizes for the students. 29/06/2023 and 30/06/2023 were public holidays. 01/07/2023- The day was normal with the usual activities. I engaged the classes incorporating  ICT. The students paid more attention to the class than the traditional classroom.

INNOVATIVE WORK (28/07/2023)

 An innovative work has been presented before the students. The work was based on the chapter 'Maternity' written by Lilika Nakos. The was was a comic book with important episodes from the chapter. The students paid attention to the visual aid presented in the class.
